Xiomara Caro-Díaz

Xiomara Caro is a strategist, connector and facilitator, and the executive director of the Maria Fund in Puerto Rico, an intermediary that has moved $7 million in funding to social justice organizations and leaders in the last 4 years. Xiomara has worked at different nonprofit organizations in the last 10 years, including Center for Popular Democracy, where the María Fund was born, and started her activism as a part of the PR student movement of 2010. She is passionate about the intersections of movement leadership, personal transformation and long-term infrastructure building.
